The Long Drift

How to Play

Your goal is to pilot your low-fuel ship to the green destination planet and achieve a stable, hands-free orbit for two full revolutions to win.

Use the white Trajectory Line to predict your path. Gravity is your engine; fuel is for course corrections. Make small thrusts to alter your course, then let go of the controls and let gravity guide you. Look for yellow checkpoint planets to save your progress and refuel your ship.

• Rotate Ship: A / D
• Thrust: W

The Long Drift is a game about outsmarting the cosmos. Armed with a low-fuel ship and a powerful physics simulation, you must chart a course through complex gravitational fields to reach your destination.

This is not a game of trial and error. It is a game of planning, precision, and skill. The core philosophy is that gravity is not an obstacle, but a powerful tool to be harnessed. By using the predictive trajectory line, you can visualize your path seconds into the future, turning impossible shots into masterful slingshot maneuvers.

Key Features:

Strategic Physics Puzzles: Each level is a unique gravitational challenge. Analyze the system, conserve your fuel, and execute the perfect burn to find your path.

Predictive Trajectory Line: See the future! A real-time line shows you exactly where your ship will go, allowing for incredible long-range planning and precise adjustments.

Skill-Based Piloting: Simple "lander" style controls (rotate, thrust, boost) are easy to learn but difficult to master. Every drop of fuel counts.

Dynamic Camera System: A smart camera keeps both you and your target in frame, giving you the perfect view for planning your next move.

Checkpoints & Refueling: Achieve a stable orbit around special planets to save your progress and get a much-needed fuel top-up.
